Hello,

I've seen this eagle in Kruger National Park in november last year.
I'm hesitating between a Wahlberg's eagle and a lesser spotted eagle (because of the white line over the eye).
Does someone has an answer for me ?
Thanks for your help
Cheers

Definitely looks like wahlberg's to me. First of all, lack of spotting on the body and wing feathers.... But mostly, the beak shape seems more like wahlberg's. The lesser spotted appears to have a much slender beak profile, whereas wahlberg's seems to have a bump on it which leads to a much more pronounced down curve over the top.
