thrushes point pelee ontario (1 Viewer)

Well, the second one is not a Hermit nor a Wood (nor Veery), based on uniform brown color. Seems to have a strong, buffy eye-ring, so if I had to guess I'd go with Swainson's.
 
Noone thought the thrush was too gray/brown and not rufous enough for a Veery? What made people think this was a Veery, to me it looks like a Gray-cheeked/Bicknell's in photo 1

Maybe just the light? It seems fairly rufous to me, though not as bright as some. I can't see any black streaking on the side of the throat/malar, which would surely be clear on a Gray-cheeked even at this angle.
