How stupid of me to go to a local reserve while schools are still out!!!!!! There was hundreds of the noisy little lovlies lol.
Anway the reserve was very quiet regarding bird life, i did get some decent pics such as Pheasant, Whimbrel, shellduck, Bearded tit, Reed Bunting so it ended up being a reasonable day. It was really nice to hear the first cuckoo of the year too, now for a nice cuppa and two paracetamol. Regards Chris.
