I'm a budget traveller with a car, on a two month trip of the Eastern states starting in Fort Lauderdale.
I'm wondering if there are any similar "cheap" birders around those dates?
Everglades and Keys are high on the list for Florida, followed by whatever nice sites can be ascertained North on the Way to Louisiana.
If anyone knows of any nice places to stay near birding spots I'd love to hear about them. I'll mostly try to avoid cities on this trip, though visiting the main spots.
