Thanks very kindly all - I'm going to paint a rhino next year!
Uh oh. Since seeing a rhino at the Philadelphia Zoo a couple of months ago I've been thinking of painting him, or at least sketching him. I guess we'll need to start a separate rhino thread.

The only reason he caught my interest was that he was so light on his feet. From the way he moved you'd think he weighed less than 100 pounds.
 
oh please let's do it! I bagsy the decapitated big cat that is assigned to species only in the evocative title including lots of "of" - "misty eyes of the mountain - snow leopard" or "tears of serendipity - ocelot" - and let's all put them up for thousands!
