I. D. Goldfinch sized bird, So California (1 Viewer)

I only got two quick shots of this goldfinch sized bird. It is colored like a goldfinch, but the beak looks like an insect eater.

My guess is Orange-crowned warbler, immature or juvenile (I get confused on when to call juv or immature). However, I must caveat this with I am usually incorrect.

Yes, that what it is, now I have gone back over my shots from last year and I have taken their picture before. Thanks ever so much. It was driving me crazy.
P.S. Enjoyed looking at your galleries, very nice job and am amazed at the variety of birds that you get.

Yay! I finally got one correct. You don't know how rare that is. :bounce:

We do get a wide variety of birds down here am extremely lucky in that regard.
