Hi there. Please can anyone advise me of any manufacturers of infrared motion detector / electronic shutter releases for a Canon system. I hope to try some nocturnal animal photography, as well as photography of birds in daytime from a distance.

Hi Andrew

Thanks for this, I was aware of this set up, bit I don't think it would trigger the shutter at night - you have to physically see the object you are photographing with this, unless I am mistaken?
