Interesting note: birds of prey are still moving through eastern N. America. Usually they have stopped by now, but they will probably continue until later this month. It is probably because of this year's El Nino, which has not produced many winter storms in New England. When storms do come, decent numbers of birds decide to move south.

Nature amazes me. Balance is key in the natural world, and it gets wacky when that balance is tipped.
