Hi. I'm Nick. I am new to bird forum so here it goes.
I just bought a Minolta Maxxum 5 wit a 70-300mm lens, a 28-80mm lens and a Quantaray PZ-1 DSZ Flash. I got all this for $50 at a garage sale. I am new to Film photography. I usually shoot with my digital Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7. This is a non SLR but decent quality.
Anyway I was wondering what exactly color slide film is, what the advantages of using this type of film is, and what the best type is to buy. I am mostly into bird photography and was told color slide film would be the best option for quality in my pictures.
Secondly I was wonderiny if the camera and lens I got are suitable for bird Photography, and if anyone has a manuel to this camera that I could use.
