THE DANUBE DELTA AND THE WORLD BANK
The environment funding sector of the Europe & Central Asia department of the World Bank were among the initial investors involved in funding the creation, conservation and protection of the bilateral Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve
The Ukrainian Ministers and Departments which ‘managed’ these funds are the same which are now involved in the construction of the channel through the core area – and will no doubt be lining up for (no I didn’t say lining pockets – that would be potentially libellous) the funds for restoration of the damage done. Very strange!
I think the World bank should investigate what is being done to their investment.
