Spring is here!! (4 Viewers)

I heard a Willow Warbler this morning here in Chelmsford (Essex). Really surprised me as though near a wild area it was singing beside a block of flats in my neighbourhood. I only heard it once though so likely was passing through to rather more salubrious environs!

watching common sandpiper this morning,bobin about on rock,on the river calder in lancashire.this morning 2April 2012.7.15am.first this year.
 
Cuckoo heard just North of Ivybridge this morning - expect they are elsewhere as well, also had a Hobby on Sunday (really!) topof Yealm Head, Dartmoor
 
Got my first House Martin today at my local patch, in amongst c55 swallows and Sand Martins. More were seen at the same site yesturday (c.80 in total) and a Yellow Wagtail. Farmoor reservoir had a mixed flock of several hundred hirundines this evening.
