YLG? Oxfordshire UK (1 Viewer)

Hi, Is this a Yellow-legged Gull? Taken today at a reservoir in Oxfordshire.

I think the head streaking fits, that is, confined to the eye surround. The belly is pale and relatively unmarked and the tail has a narrow black band.

I cannot decide whether the under-wing coverts contrast enough?

I think picture 2 shows better the pale 'window' but I fear this may be too extensive for YLG?

Cheers,
Tim

yes, it's a 1cy YLG.
edit: it's actually interesting to find (probably) a western bird with a pale base to p10 (inner web).

Great, thanks Lou! It's actually my first YLG so I'm pleased with that, and a juvenile too!

The target now is to find and identify my first Caspian :eek!:
