Nikon lenses and XL2 (1 Viewer)

nickdavis

hooked on birds
I am thinking of investing in a canon xl 2 to shoot wildlife.

However currently I am a Nikon user with a decent set of lenses, Sigma 500 4.5, 120-300 2.8, 70-200, 50mm, 30mm etc. I love them and don't want to swap them for canon versions.

Is there any way i can mount them on an xl2?

came across this... http://www.lensadaptor.com/nikon-g-canon-xl-adaptor

But does anyone have any experience with this kind of set up, or know anything about attaching Nikon lenses to canon xl's? Will it work? Will quality be affected?

The only other option would be to buy the xl to eos canon adapter and also a Nikon to Canon conversion adapter that can be used on normal slrs and stacking them all together, but i have no idea if this works atall, just an idea i had??

you help would be really appreciated...
Many thanks Nick
