Though confusingly has seven customer reviews that are a decade or more old--looks as though Amazon tacked on reviews from the first edition of the New Guineau field guide by some of the same authors.

It's a big file with 127 mb.

They usually offer two files with different resolutions on the AMNH website (link in my original post); the difference can be quite dramatic, e.g. [here]: 3.5 vs. 84Mb... BioOne only has the high-res version.

Low-res pdf 5.524Mb, available [here].
(High-res pdf 124.6Mb, presumably the same as on BioOne but without the BioOne title page. Or, if you prefer, there is also a 7.075Mb djvu file.)
