I caught this sad looking gal on our feeder today, after spotting her a few days earlier. Not a good look.

Yep, take a bird's feathers away and you're left with a pretty ugly dinosaur ;-)

Either a result of a mite infestation, which is quite normal, this time of year or molting. Chances are it is a result of the mites though.
