Can anyone here review these. I found them on sale and would like to know how they compare optically with something like the Nikon Prostaff 7?

The BV 8x42 BR are, optically, very good, kinda weak mecanically.
Having red about 70% of the allbinos binocs reviews i can do a quick one the way they do.
Extremely sharp (i can hardly differenciate the sharpness with the Habichts), quite bright. They have the hot redish colour rendition as the typical chinese optics have.
Focuser is good.
They are more a 8.5x-8.8x than a 8x.
The eyecups broke several days after i received them.
Blur is weak. CAs are medium in the center, high on the edge.
Absolutely no ghost images.
No flares or only a very few on very difficult conditions.
It's a pleasure to look through for the money.
If you would find a review on allbinos, i will situate their final note at about 70-74%
It would be very close to this pair of bins, with a few distortion visible.

Just a subjective smallish review anyway, regarding 8x42. I never looked through a 10x42.
