Good price on 50-200 at Argos (1 Viewer)

A 'heads up' to UK members. Argos have just reduced the price of the Olympus 50-200 SWD lens by £100 to £717. It was already an extremely competitive price at £817 but is a bit of a steal at the new price. I bought mine from there about 6 months ago for £760 and the purchase was quick and painless. I think it is possible that they might not be stocking them in the future. It is a cracking lens by the way.

I must say this is a highly competitive price for an excellent lens that delivers sharp and high contrast pictures.

It looks as if the 50-200 has now disappeared from the Argos website. I don't know whether this is a temporary or permanent situation. The only Olympus lens they now list is the 11-22 at £600. The cheapest price for the 50-200 now appears to be around £970 according to Camera Price Buster.
