Alfred Russel Wallace centenary (1 Viewer)

It's really pleasing to see Alfred Russel Wallace coming into the limelight, with 2013 remembering him 100 years on from his death.

Maybe this post is a little tenuous for this forum, but as co-founder of the theory of natural selection, the author of The Malay Archipelago and inspiration to many a naturalist, then I thought it worth mentioning and bringing the Natural History Museum's plans to everyone's attention:

Hear, hear!

The Malay Archipelago should be on every birders reading list...great man, sadly forgotten (though he did a get a bit weird later on in life ;0)
