Still trying to perfect my NEF conversion technique and thought I'd share this pair of frames of a mouse, the first is just a straight NEF to JPG, and the second is NEF to JPG with a lot of PP in Nikon Capture (if the sequence isn't preserved it's obvious which is which).
Looking at the modded copy on it's own it looks OK to me, but I must be honest, compared side by side it looks overprocessed. Processing :
In Advanced RAW-
exp comp : unchanged
sharpening : med high
tone comp : med high
colour mode : Mode II
sat & hue : unchanged
In Palette 2 -
Unsharp Mask 30%/5%
