I used to be out birdwatching most days and then life's realities took over. Married, house and garden, kids, work etc. Add to this the fact that I have never been much of a twitcher.

So my last three UK ticks:
Little Auk - Blyth Harbour (Northumbs) 2008.
Ring-Necked Parakeet - Reading ca 1995.
Cetti's Warbler - Medway Marshes circa 1985.

Overseas - White Stork and Common Crane - Germany 2001. Littel Egret - Brittany 1992.

Will be having a go at Roseatte this year - they are just up the road.

Latest 09

Whitethroat
Lesser Whitethroat
Crossbill

Latest Lifers

Jack Snipe
Yellow-browed Warbler
Ring Ouzel

Can't remember, they were so long ago (sobs quietly).

There, there now - pats Dave consolingly on shoulder :smoke:

1: 21st March 2008 ~ Common Crane ~ Lifer No. 194
2: 13th March 2009 ~ Slavonian Grebe ~ Lifer No. 195
3: 5th April 2009 ~ Mediterranean Gull ~ Lifer No. 196

Really going to push for the 200 this year which *fingers crossed* shouldn't be TOO hard as I have a few 'simple' ones to catch up with - Ring Ouzel, Red Grouse, Avocet and ANY petrel or shearwater ;)
