Quick and easy sound analysis whilst in the field (1 Viewer)

I've been meaning to try that with my iPhone. I've got an app called SpectrumView, but haven't ever got around to it. I've only got a heterodyne and a frequency division detector though, not sure how useful it would be.
 
You might be pleasantly surprised with the FD output. As there is usually nothing else making noises at the FD frequency of bats, the signals could be pretty clear, even with this crude set up.
