Currently the Key gives:

No expl. (Bianchi 1906, Bull. Brit. Ornith. Cl., 16, 69); probably a local name in China for this woodpecker (subsp. Picus guerini).

Тангутское название этого дятла "ко-го".
I.e.: The Tangut name of this woodpecker is "ko-go".
