Hello.

Just wondered what your thoughts are on this small travel scope, i recently bought one with a skua stay on case for something to stick in the backpack on walks.

Not had chance to try it much and when i bought it, it was a spur of the moment thing as it was mint and at the right price.

Thanks Gary

Hi Gary,
I use the 502 a lot hand held.
It is light weight and easy to use.
The view is average, but as it is hand held I don't think it loses much compared to a good scope, which would have a degraded hand held image.
If I can I brace it and indoors rest it carefully against the window glass and window frame for quite good stability.
