Pelagic Trips - Southern California (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm interested in going on a pelagic birding boat in So Cal. There are some going out of LA, Ventura and Santa Barbara at different times, as I'm sure Monterey and others further north.

When is the best time to go? I'd love to see some unusual migrant birds. I'm wondering if at this time of year it's too late or should I wait for fall or even winter to go?

Thanks for any suggestions. If I should just make a go all out and go further North, I'd be open to advice.

Thanks,
Matt
