Who needs a scope.. (1 Viewer)

Yes, there is a similar affliction in what we refer to as "department store telescopes" that boast of magnifications of 500x or more for a 60mm objective telescope that costs $60. At least the binocular you cite *looks* nice!
 
Well, I got a scope, and eyepieces an' a tripod to go along with it.....an' I can see stuff a long ways away with it, and see it very well (if the air's good). And I use it probably once a month....maybe twice during migration. But I've convinced myself I need it....
