Tuesday December 06, 2005:
Several HERMIT THRUSH were seen along Granite Park off Departure Bay Road.
Three ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS have been coming to feeders along Broughton Place in Nanaimo for the past two years
Monday December 05:
ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD are coming to feeders in the Whalebone area on the north side of Gabrolia Island

Sunday December 04:
A YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER was spotted at Somenos Creek in Duncan.
The Sunday bird walk went to Neck Point Park in Nanaimo Nanaimo. Nine birders found the following twenty-six species:

Black Turnstone

Saturday December 03:
A large flock of AMERICAN GOLDFINCH were seen at Buttertubs Marsh in Nanaimo. Six STELLER'S JAYS, DARK-EYED JUNCOS, CHEASTNUT CHICKADEES,
HOUSE FINCH, NORTHERN FLICKER and a HAIRY WOODPECKER are visiting feeders in the 700 block of Howard Avenue in Nanaimo.

Friday December 02:
An ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD is coming to feeders in the 2200 block of Ashlee Road in Nanaimo.

Thursday December 01:
A TOWNSENDS WARBLER was spotted in the 500 block of 9th Street in Nanaimo.
An ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD was sighted in the 600 block of Chartwell Blvd in Qualicum Beach.
An ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD was also spotted along Bowen Road near Beban Park in Nanaimo.

Wednesday November 30:
Twelve WESTERN MEADOWLARKS were seen at the Nanaimo River Estuary in south Nanaimo.
A male COOPER'S HAWK was seen sitting on a back fence in the 1100 block of Walkem Road in Ladysmith.

Tuesday November 29:
A NORTHERN FLICKER, a WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW, DARK-EYED JUNCOS, STELLER'S JAYS, SPOTTED TOWHEES and 23 to 30 CALIFORNIA QUAIL are visiting feeders in the 100 block of Walkem Road in Ladysmith.
