After deciding to purchase the Theron Saker ED scope based upon user recommendations, I now must contemplate a tripod/head purchase as well.
My budget for the combine tripod/head isn't that great (~$100), so I've been looking at three options, but will gladly peruse more if suggested. Any help on deciding between these or another tripod/head for use with the 2.5lb(40oz) Theron Saker would be greatly appreciated.
The four I am considering are the Velbon Videomate 607,Slik u800 w/ Fluid head, and Magnus VT-300 w/ Fluid Head, Velbon Videomate 638.
