I was looking for the G3, but ended up buying the G1.
It is a clearance sale by a store of good reputation. They are selling the G1 with the 14-45mm lens kit at CND299.99 before Tax, (and the G2 kit at 499.99, which is less attractive to me).
The lens alone would have cost $265 and the Battery $80, so the body is practically free.
I have been looking for a smaller camera with good quality to come along with my Canon and its birding lens so that I can take some scenic and candid shots without bringing along 2 big Canons, and I think this one is for me. Now I have to learn how to use it.
