Fall duck or I was not paying attention (1 Viewer)

These ducks are all over now but I don't remember them in the spring or summer

Mudhen (aka American Coot), and not a duck but a duck-like rail. In the off-season they leave their marshland breeding territories to congregate in ponds, lakes, estuaries and other open bodies of water, often in very large numbers.
