Bright orange bird! (1 Viewer)

Hello all,
I know nothing about birds, apart from the busy birdlife in our back garden. I wonder if anyone can identify the bright orange bird in this picture which I took about an hour ago? (I have attached the picture).
Kind regards,
Nick

Hi nick,

Welcome to Birdforum.

I would say it is an escapee. Can't decide if it is a type of Canary, finch or budgie.

Hi Nick,
I'm just learning about birds, we have so many here and a lot nesting in the back yard. We have bright orange bird, an Oriole. He's beautiful! We have Hummingbirds so I had a feeder for them and he eats the same nectar.
