Hello, is this a good combination , a manfrotto 190 alu Tripod with 5OO fluid head. I will be using it with a Swarovski ATS 80 HD (25x50 oculair) for watching birds (not digiscoping)

Hi,

I have used a Manfrotto 501 head on a heavier tripod with both a 80ED refractor and an Orion 100ED, worked for both.These are kind of heavier scopes.

Simple answer, going by the specs of the tripod and head both should support this Swarovski spotter with no trouble.Height should be no trouble with an angled spotter.
