Bird ID templates (1 Viewer)

It's difficult to ID a bird from a description alone, as we've been finding this week! So I've knocked up a couple of templates for members to use. All you have to do is save them to your hard disk and then pull them into your favourite paint package and colour 'em in! Or you can print them out, get your crayons and scan them in again! Don't forget to save the "drawing" as a new file! Then, when you post your query, just attach the file . . .

The first template is a "general" one, minus beak and tail. These I leave for you to draw in depending on the bird you want identified!

I've done another two; one for "finches and buntings" and another for "warblers". I personally have a lot of problems identifying these little brown/green jobs!

Another one I will do is for waders. If people find these templates useful and would like other types doing, let me know!
