Hi all,
next week we leave for 8 days Algarve birdwatching. Anybody any good birding spots ?
Pera Marshes, Castro Marim, Ria Formosa, Ria Alvor and Ludo-area are allready known. There must me more I think ?
Thx for any/your recommendations.

Hi Jacob,
have a look at this trip report from November 2009, there's a couple of places not in your list plus the Castro Verde to Mertola road in the lower Alentejo, (which I never visited this trip), good for bustards and other steppe birds. If you haven't done so already put a search in the trip report section for Castro Verde for more information on the area.

regards

John
