Anyone out there own the current version of the 8x43 Elite ? Any pros and cons ? Optical and mechanical quality ? How are the ergonomics ?
Many thanks

I don't own one, but i spent 20 minutes comparing one with a Leica Ultravid 8x32. Except for field of view and, maybe a bit more contrast in the Leica, i could not see a difference.
The Elite is quite small for a 8x43, it is closer in size to most 8x32's. My large hands did not have problems with them, they felt very comfortable and very well built.
It really is a premium binocular. You can find them for as low as $500 sometimes.
