Anyone has any ideas about where to go birding in Macedonia?

I'll be there early April (for work), near Prespa lake, and wonder if I should add a weekend or os.

Thanks for the suggestions! Food for thought and for me to start more detailed research... I might come back with more questions!

Prespa is a great place to be - Pelicans there, plus other good water birds and migrants in April. The Babuna Gorge, Demir Kapija - great for raptors, Rock Partridge etc. Lake Dojran is really splendid for water birds.
Then Sar Planina (Mountain) north of Skopje holds great raptors and other sp.
You can pick up stuff like Sombre Tit, Rock Bunting easily in the right scrubby hillside habitats..
It's great, and the spring flowers will be wonderful then, too.
Lucky you!
David
