Ladened with hyperbole and emotive language, the report tells that an eight year old Yorkshire terrier, called Roo, was attacked in the garden near Newquay, Cornwall. The dog received a wound to his head and brain damage during the attack by the Herring gulls; the dog was later put down after a vet decided he could not survive his wounds.

Yes, but to the newspapers a gull is a gull is a gull. I meant to mention that the picture wasn't a Herring gull, mali. :t:
 
"Three-year-old child left unattended in garden with three dogs..." doesn't read quite as well I guess?
