our usual fab five had our weekly visit to our Nairobi National Park .

we had 7 hours there and registered over 100 species .

migrants returning were , Green, Wood and Common Sandpipers , Greenshank, Northern Wheatear, Barn Swallows , Eurasian Bee-eaters.

we also had our first Madagascar Pond Heron [ unusual, as we normally have more] .

Also many African Quailfinch , ie thousands , including one albino !

Apart from the birds we saw 2 magnificent male lions ,7 hippo, crocodiles, plenty of plains game, Zebra,Eland and antelopes , including 2 Oribi .

What a wonderful place

PS whilst home in UK I stumbled on a big twitch , ie Short-billed Dowitcher at Lodmor, Weymouth
