Hi All,

The first image is of male & female Lesser Goldfinch.

Please could someone confirm ID of the bird in images 2 & 3?

I suspect it's just a fem L-Goldfinch, but the wing bar looks too pronounced and the main body colour doesn't look right (it's possible the reflection off the pink tap head is affacting the perceived colour).

I agree with American Goldfinch for the last two photos. Note the brownish coloration (would be more yellow and olive on Lesser this time of year), and the well-defined, broad buffy wing bar. Lesser and American goldfinches do sometimes associate with each other, as here.

If you wait, they will come!... Surprisingly you didn't find one male at least. Surely olive in birds in your part of country, right now in the NW we have goldfinches but lacking lots of color!...
