I have a pair of these that I use in my 1DX (can use the same batteries as the 1D3):

They don't have the capacity of the Canon originals but as the 1D3 consumes FAR less power than the 1DX then you should be pleased. One of them will do a full day's wildlife shooting (on all the time but not many shots) in my 1DX which would translate to 2 or 3 days with a 1D3. They also charge quite happily on the LC E4 and LC E4N chargers.
For the price I am perfectly happy with mine especially as I can get 7 or 8 for the price of one 1DX battery!

Unfortunately Lithium batteries have a limited life and Canon/Nikon like to overcharge for them. This is one area where the "Ripoff" merchants really do us a favour!
