This report may interest other birders who like me have a non-birding wife. The following birds were recorded in the Vinpearl resort 7th to 22nd February 2018. Areas for birding inside the resort are a bit patchy but there are some pools within the resort and a bit of scrub along the north edge. In addition to this there is a 5km stretch of road that leads to the entrance of the Vinpearl safari that was quite productive giving me the bird of the trip a pair of Great Hornbills. Species seen:

Little Egret

White-bellied Sea Eagle
White-breasted Waterhen
Common Sandpiper
