Tree pipit or thrush? South Gloucestershire (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I saw this bird two days ago - at a distance, hence the bad quality photo. I thought it would be 'easy' to ID because of its clear markings, but now I'm really unsure what type if could be (I've narrowed it down to possibly a type of pipit or thrush). Can anyone help?
Thanks!

It's a type thrush called a Redwing which is a winter visitor. Note the bold supercilliam & dark eyestripe which give it that bold head pattern.

Wow! Thank you! I was hoping to see a redwing this winter :) Not much of the 'red' to be seen on my rather blurry picture, though.
Cheers,
Jeanette
