ok, bad birdy. doing the real thing excuses much. B :)

#8 - same species, same place as jane (now do we have to be first here to get a point?)

#9 - as opposite to w.peregrine i say alcedo-hummer, and why i knew it? - actually when i opened the pic i didn't see any bird but i was sure only King Fisher could be the culprit at such a setting. then i saw the sci-fi thing in the middle right confirming my suspicion.

#10 - juvenile redshank on the large stone just beneath the prominent willowherb, left part of pic.

All answers before looking at other peoples:

8 - Sand Martin top left pannel, 4th hole across, 2nd row down
9 - Kingfisher flying away middle right
10 - juv Common Sandpiper? middle left on rocks below bush thing

Welsh Peregrine was first in with all required fields on the Kingfisher Sci-Fi Hummer Resplendant Quetzal photo. :cat: So that one closed down immediately...;)
(Points: 2 for first best answer...species, location in photo.
1 for description of "why you knew what it was...") 3 points.

Latest scores....

"It's only a game...bird!"

Yes Lou! Well worked out. B :):eek!:

(So 3 points for that, with species, precise location and age.:t:)

I've also awarded a point each to Lou, Jonny721 and Adam W, who saw another bird in the photo which I was not aware of! They didn't correctly ID it, but I feel it only fair to award a point each. :cat: (Remember, the skillful among you CAN catch me out, and points will be awarded when this happens!:-C)
