Hi Reader,
Your second specimen is a Small Magpie Moth (Pyralid)
No.1. has me a little confused, it looks like one of the 'Snout' moths but none that I know of are green. The palps are reminiscent of some of the Pyralid moths but I can't see any that fit. I'll sleep on it.

Not a clue on the moths, but I hope that hair in the background of the 1st picture isn't what I think it is!

I asked Ian Kimber about quite a few Moth ID's last year and I asked him if he had a CD of Moths I could have. He said that he did have one and I paid a tenner for it.
