Moths from Cairns (1 Viewer)

We are now settling into winter over here with night temperatures dropping below 16oC which has had a huge impact on the moth fauna that is flying around. It has been a reasonable summer in the garden with over 500spp ID'd to at least genus level (probably another 200+ to go from photos) including 25 species of Hawkmoth. Will post a few of my better pictures over the next few weeks.
Three Hawkmoths to start:
Ambulyx wildei
Daphnis placida
Hippotion velox
