Coming back on the train earlier today, in fields east of Acle & south of the Pontiac Roadhouse (the old Stracey Arms pub) there were several fields of Pink-footed Geese (an estimate of 3000 ??) & ~50 wild swans (not sure which sp. as it was from the train but not Mute's anyway)

Worth a closer look over the weekend I think

nearly all Bewick's Carlos (look short necked)

I drive past them every day

numbers vary from day to day though and location too, though they dont move far....
