Canon M3 and 20mm pancake lens (1 Viewer)

Hi, Just a short question,
Has anyone used the Canon M3 with the pancake 20mm lens on their scope, I have a RSPB Harrier scope 80mm with 20-60X eye piece and although the M3 kit 18-45 lens will work I have to zoom it to 40mm to get rid of vignette effect. I would prefer to just use a small lens and get no vignette would this work. it appears to have a very small diameter lens.??
