Spending a couple of days each in Oslo and Bergen in March. Does anyone have any recommendations for boat trips or excursions that may incorporate good bird sites please? Would love to see Sea Eagles if possible. Thanks in advance
Rach

Bergen:
March is one of the best months to see White-tailed Eagles near Bergen. They are everywhere out where I live.
(see blog and website in signature). By March at least some of the migrants will have returned and there is enough daylight to get a decent days birding in.

Oslo:
Some good birding there in March too. White-tailed Eagles are not common there and views tend not be as good or regular as near Bergen, however, Oslo can make up for it in other ways and there are some sites that lend themselves well to public transport.

Thank you so much for your reply. We are planning on a boat trip from Bergen so I hope to catch up with White-tailed Eagles.

Thanks again,
Rachel

Not sure you will be able to see Sea Eagles in Bergen, definitely not in Oslo area. Have a look at Simon Rix's blog (google 'Oslobirder'). A scan through his posts will give you an idea of what is possible. He also acts as a private guide, e.g. to see Hawk Owl, but it will cost you!
