Hello!

This Hawk flew quickly over my head and this was the only picture I could take :( .....

Anyone would like to give it try and ID it?
Location SouthEast Brazil
Mountains at approx 1.800 mts height

Could it be a white-tail hawk?

Many thanks in advance!

Do you know what? I'm really chuffed, I looked at that and thought White-tailed hawk but didn't want to look foolish if I was wrong. Maybe I'll be more bold next time. :bounce:

Nice looking bird Deca what sort of diminsions is it? From your photo without any reference, it looks the size of a Common Buzzard but could easily be Kestrel sized.

Good job Jonafly! Much easier to see now!

Bob, it seems he was about 40cms definetelly the biggest one I've seen in this area! Let's see if I can see it again in the next weekends and get a better image!

thanks! :)
