Hi, I want to ask people with opinion about these two binoculars. Which is better in terms of contrast, brightness and resolution? I know that swaro sv 10x50 is better, but how is the smaller 10x42 compare to swarovski habicht 10x40 wga? Is it true that habicht 10x40 is sharper? Thanks!

I can't comment on the Habicht, but I have owned the 10X42 SV, and now own the 10X50. The 10X42 is fantastic, and unless you directly compare them to the 10X50 you'll never want for anything better. That's assuming Swarovision is your cup of tea.
