Identification of bird trapped in greenhouse (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if anyone could identify this beautiful bird that was trapped in my greenhouse earlier today. I suspect it is a black redstart, but am surprised it is here in west wales! I suspect this is from the pair nesting opposite the living room window, that I mistook for a robin earlier in the week.

Hi Geekchic and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

That looks like a female Common Redstart you have there, which you can read more about HERE in Opus.

They're such beautiful little birds which seem to be more common in your area than they are up here... so I'm jealous of your sighting.;)
